AK Double Wall Systems
Made from a check socket that has been aligned, the inner socket is 2/3rds the length and the outer socket is full length. The suspension sleeve is connected to the inner socket and the inner socket is connected to the retainer with a shuttle system, side pin or lanyard. The sleeve is protected by the outer retainer this system separates the mode of suspension from the brim design, so sitting and volume fluctuations do not compromise the suspension. The system can be made with a flexible brim.

The Double Wall shown has a laminated inner socket and a PETG outer check socket. This allows the prosthetist to walk the patient while fine tuning the brim shape. The final retainer is made from carbon fiber and can be made in any color.

The AK Double Wall is compatible with all high vacuum systems as well as a regular expulsion valve system.
